In gratitude to the following amazing teachers I present a list of resources which have profoundly changed my life.

Average Joe on the Raw. [Movie] (2012)

A fabulous tale of the power of raw foods--in 60 days or less. This is perhaps a more realistic approach for most people on the raw food path; a periodic commitment rather than a dogmatic 100% approach. Regardless of where you are on the path, it is an inspiring journey which helps me recommit when I feel tempted otherwise.

Barron, Jon.  (2011) Oil Pulling for Detoxing? Baseline of Health Foundation. Accessed at website.

The Blue Buddha: Lost Secrets of Tibetan Medicine  [Movie] (2006). Accessed on Google Video.

The Beautiful Truth [Movie] (2008).

I love this documentary on a home schooled adolescent who discovers the merits of Gerson Therapy.

Chase, Pamela Louise & Pawlik, Jonathan. Trees for Healing: Harmonizing with Nature for Personal Growth and Planetary Balance.

    This is an awesome resource

The Gerson Miracle [Movie] (2004).

This documentary provides the history of Gerson Therapy. It also includes the recipe for coffee enemas--the reason I found out about the treatment in the first place.  This film is an eye opener on alternative cancer treatments.

Dying to Have Known  [Movie] (2006) .

Another documentary on Gerson Therapy.  It's as if people think it's too good to be true.

Einstein, Charles.  The Yoga of Eating: Transcending Diets and Dogma to Nourish the Natural Self

I read this book during the first Juice Feast to get my thoughts in order. When I first started out I had to learn appropriate ways of approaching new levels of health. One thing I had to learn was to be realistic and not so hard on myself for not being perfect. For that, this book was a perfect companion.

Hall, Judy. Past Life Astrology: Use Your Birthchart to Understand Your Karma

How can I learn to stop making the same mistakes again and again? This has been a good place for me to start to unravel what I am here to learn.  To get a glimpse of the information covered see here.

Hay, Louise L. You Can Heal Your Life.

Hands down this is the book I recommend to most who feel or are unwell and don't know where to start to come back to wholeness.

Hidalgo, Sharlyn The Healing Power of Trees: Spiritual Journeys through the Celtic Tree Calendar.

This book is inspiring me to start the new Celtic year (November 2013) journeying with the trees and learning from their wisdom.

I am Fishead. [Move] (2011).

This is a closely investigated look at psychopathic corporate leaders, however it is a erudite yet accessible look at and explanation (and a suggested resolution I wholeheartedly support) about those tiny differences in people that make us wonder how someone in a leadership position can do such harm. It's useful to understand irrational, absurd and cruel behavior outside of the work organization and into the organization known as society.

Klima, Ivan. My Golden Trades.

One of the best works of fiction (I've ever read) about the psychological cost of an oppressive society. The adaptability of the human mind continues to deeply fascinate me.

May I Be Frank? [Movie] (2010)

A beautiful transformation that shows just how much a person can change (with personal commitment) through the loving grace of others.

Martin, Barbara Y & Moraitis, Dimitri. The Healing Power of Your Aura.

Ok, this is a little dry and textbook-ish but it is extremely helpful to me in healing at a higher level and checking to see if physical manifestations are linked to karma.

Meade, Michael. Anything by him is amazing. Mosaicvoices.org

In review of his work Alice Walkers said: "Michael Meade is magic. Unlike anyone else one is likely to encounter, Michael Meade is one of the greatest teachers of our time."

I attended a workshop of his and he is spellbinding in his scholarly wisdom and magical ability to transfer knowledge and hope through story. He takes the complicated history, psychology and myth of humanity and shares it in a manner so the individual can grow beyond bounds. While standing in line to use the restroom during a break one attendee said: "I haven't dared to take any notes for fear I'd miss a word he is saying."

Morse, Robert N.D. The Detox Miracle Sourcebook: Raw Foods and Herbs for Complete Cellular Regeneration.

If I had to do it all over again, I would start with this book. In fact it is the one I lend most often to people who ask for help.

Mortiz, Andreas. Ener-Chi Wellness Center.

Mortiz, Andreas Timeless Secrets for Health and Rejuvenation

A thick and rich book that brought a turning point in my health. It holds the complete liver flush protocol and many other tips and ways to get the body in alignment with the natural rhythms.

Mueller, Mickie. Voice of the Trees: A Celtic Divination Oracle

The most powerful divination I've come across to date.

The Power of Community: How Cuba Survived Peak Oil [Movie] (2006).

This is a documentary about the successful rallying of brilliant minds and farmers to create a healthy gardening community in the face of scarce resources. This film is the proverbial writing on the wall. It specifically remarks on the condition of the soil from conventional farming and the years it took to rebuild the soil to provide healthy, organic produce. Although I recommend starting your own garden immediately, if this is not plausible and you have land please do the minimum to build healthy soil on your property for a future garden. See Dirt! The Movie for the particulars on the need for healthy soil.

Walker, Norman. Raw Vegetable Juices: What's Missing in Your Body.

Wigmore, Ann. Why Suffer?

An amazing story which continues to inspire me on the possibilities of living a good life.

Wolfe, David. Longevity Now Program and Videos.

An inspiring health leader whom I have learned so much from.
